Ramblings about life . . .

What I share about my life is simply to help reinforce the understanding that it is possible to live with love and laughter, even with tough times.

Life is what we make of it, no matter how harrowing. We accept and embody this with-in ourselves, thereby allowing the energy to manifest outwardly in our reality.

It starts with each one of us as an individual to form the collective consciousness.

Be the dream.

We honour the light and the life within you.

I upload other bloggers' posts and then delete after a month. This is my journey and others help me understand where I am, until they become irrelevant (a few posts excepted).

Happy place

Lol...New Zealand's night life only starts at 10.30pm and carries on until "late" as per signs on the doors. Most of the restaurants and pubs turn into nightclubs with no cover charge. Some have DJs and others have live bands. Doors are wide open, even in winter. There are outdoor heaters everywhere. Victoria Street in Hamilton is deserted and dead during the day but comes alive after 10pm. You can wander around choosing where you'd like to go. There are so many places available. Queues everywhere as people wait patiently to get into their favourite haunt to dance the night away.

It is such a pleasure to be able to have a leisurely dinner and when you step out of the restaurant, find the street buzzing with people.

Before Greg arrived, I spent a weekend in Taupo with a friend. We had dinner and then walked down the street to find a pub and danced the night away to a live band. We had so much fun.

I've not seen any fighting, everyone happy and dancing. Even our son has been surprised at the lack of fighting that you get in the UK, where you can look at someone and they want to deck you. There alcohol seems to bring out the worst in people whereas here it makes for a good laugh.

It probably does happen, can't imagine it wouldn't, but mostly it is a happy place that we experience.

Needless to say I've nursed a hangover or two since I've been here.
